Biography

Ms. Shanta Lashmi N is currently working as a Faculty Member in the Department of Management Studies, Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology. She is a management professional with over 15 years of diverse industry experience spanning procurement, supply chain management, production, operations, implementation of lean manufacturing techniques, business process improvement, accounting, import–export functions, and information technology. She began her professional career as an IT Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where she contributed to software projects across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and gained valuable expertise in requirement analysis, process optimization, and project implementation for global clients. Subsequently, she transitioned to the manufacturing sector and has been associated with Vibrant Marketing Services, a Coimbatore-based MSME, where she led the operations function and contributed to the growth and development of the organization through process standardization and operational excellence initiatives. A UGC NET-qualified academician, she is passionate about integrating industry experience with classroom teaching to provide students with practical, application-oriented learning experiences. She is actively engaged in research and is committed to advancing her academic contributions through a part-time Ph.D., further strengthening her involvement in teaching, research, and knowledge creation.
