Biography
Mr. C. R. Vijay is an academician, researcher, trainer, and academic administrator with over 13 years of experience in higher education, placement management, student development, and institutional administration. He currently serves as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Management Studies. His expertise includes Human Resource Management, Strategic HRM, Organizational Behaviour, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, ERP, and Management Information Systems. He holds an MBA in Human Resources and Systems and is pursuing a Ph.D., reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and research. Throughout his career, he has undertaken key leadership roles such as Placement Officer, NAAC Coordinator, NBA Team Member, Programme Coordinator, and Academic Coordinator, contributing significantly to student employability, industry collaboration, and quality assurance initiatives.He has published research articles in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals across diverse domains, including HRM, Artificial Intelligence, Retail Marketing, Digital Banking, Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain Management. He also holds multiple Indian patents related to Supply Chain Optimization, IoT-enabled Smart Wheelchairs, and AI applications in Human Resource Management. An active member of professional bodies such as ISTE and other technical skill development organizations, he actively participates in research, faculty development, and professional training. His research interests include AI in HRM, Organizational Development, Digital Transformation, Supply Chain Analytics, Entrepreneurship, and technology-driven management practices for sustainable organizational growth.
