Biography

Dr.A.S.Shanthi has completed her Bachelor of Engineering Degree in CSE from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College,Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and Master of Engineering Degree in Software Engineering from Ramakrishna Engineering College, Anna University,Chennai.She has received her Doctor of Philosophy in CSE from Anna University,Chennai.She has got 23 years of teaching experience and currently working at Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems. She has guided more than 150 under graduate and post graduate students. She has published 40 papers in reputed International Journals , National Conferences and other journals. She has published two patents and received first examination report for one patent. She has chaired and organized various International Conferences, Workshops and Seminars. She is a reviewer of referred journals and conferences. She is a member of professional societies like IAENG and ISRD. She has conducted STTP and workshops funded by AICTE. She was awarded as “Outstanding Personality” for her social responsibilities by Junior Chamber International, Tirunchangode Chapter in the year 2010.She has received “Youth Talent Promotion –Faculty "Award from Rotaract Women ‘s club during the year 2017.She has received Ms.WOMENSERA’18 Award from Rotaract Club of Tirupur North for her excellence in academics and social responsibilities during the year 2018.She was awarded as ”SEVA RATNA” by International Tamil University during the year 2018.She also bagged an award titled “Inspirational teacher who has demonstrated Excellence in Education and for creating a change in society "by Park Golden Jubilee Teachers’ Award in 2023.
