Short Bio
Krishnamoorthi Murugasamy obtained his Bachelor of Engineering from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, India in 2002. Then he obtained his Master of Engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India in 2004 and completed his PhD in Computer Science majoring in optimization and Data mining from Anna University, Chennai in 2014. He is currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Information Technology, Dr. N. P. G. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. His area of interest includes Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. His current research interests are Data Analytics and optimization techniques. He has filed and published three patents. He also published thirty six research articles indexed in web of science and Scopus indexed in various journals. Currently, he is guiding 5 PhD Students and 3 Students have completed PhD under his Guidance from Anna University, Chennai.
