Short Bio
Dr.C.Kathirvel, has completed his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2014. He has completed his M.E.,(Applied Electronics) degree from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai in the year 2004 and Received his B.E., (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) degree from Government College of Technology, Affiliated to Bharathiyar University in the year 2000. He is currently working as Professor and Head in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. He has more than 20 years of teaching and industrial experience. He has published more than 70 research articles in International Journals and Conferences. His area of interest includes Renewable Energy systems, Soft computing and Controllers for Hybrid energy systems. He is a recognized Ph.D supervisor of Anna University, Chennai and presently he is supervising 7 Ph.D scholars. He is also in the Doctoral Committee member for Ph.D scholars of Anna University, Chennai and Karpagam University, Coimbatore. He serves in technical review committee for many International Journals and Conferences. He has chaired several technical sessions in national and international conferences. He is doing consultancy works in the area of Energy Conservation and Energy Audit. He is a life member of ISTE and a certified ISO internal auditor. He is a Professional member of IEEE, IAENG, IAEMP and ISRD.
