Short Bio
Dr.Hemalatha Balan obtained her Bachelor of Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2005 and Master of Engineering from Anna University, Coimbatore in 2010. Her research interests lies on Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and E-Vehicles. She is having 16 years of experience in Engineering Colleges. Now she is working as an Associate Professor in Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She has filed 4 patents and also published books chapters and research papers in leading journals including SCI, Scopus journals and conference proceedings. She has received grants from AICTE , TNSCST. She has peer reviewed many international journals and an active member in various professional societies. She also received Young Scientist Fellowship from TamilNadu State Council for Science and Technology in the Year 2022-23
