Short Bio
Dr.S.Sharmila Devi is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Sl.G) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has completed Ph.D (ICE) from Anna University,Chennai, Master’s degree in Applied Electronics from Anna University,Chennai and Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University. She has 13.6 years of teaching experience and 4.4 years of industry experience. She has published 12 research papers in international journals indexed in SCI, Scopus and Google scholar, 24 papers in national/international conferences and 2 book chapters. She is a peer reviewer of Elsevier and Springer Journal. She has attended many FDP, seminar, workshop and short term courses. She has acted as a resource person in many Value Added Courses. She has guided many undergraduate and postgraduate engineering projects. She has organized workshops, seminars and technical events. She received a top performing mentor award for NPTEL online courses. She has completed online courses in various disciplines which includes certifications from NPTEL, COURSERA, BEC-Business English Certification and EDX. Her areas of interest are VLSI Design, Internet of Things and Quantum Computing. She is a Life time member of ISTE and ISSE.
