Short Bio

Dr. R. Karthikeyan received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, M.Tech from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu and Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He is currently working as a Professor and Head in Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Dr. NGP Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He has around 22 years of Teaching Experience. He is a member of professional societies like ISTE, IACSIT and IAENG. His research interests include Image mining, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has published more than 20 papers in International Conferences and Journals. His subject interests include Database Management Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data warehousing and Data Mining and Human Computer Interaction. Received Professor of the Year Award in 3rd International Business and Academic Excellence Awards 2021 organized by GISR Foundation New Delhi. Member in Asia Society of Researchers. Organized research seminars by inviting professors from IIT, IISc and experts from industries. Acted as a resource person in various webinars, AICTE STTP, FDP etc. Conducted webinars for school students also.
