Short Bio

Dr. S. Nandhakumar completed his under-graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Sethu Institute of Technology, Madurai Kamaraj University and post-graduation in Industrial Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Anna University, Chennai. He obtained his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering specialized in robotics from Anna University. He has more than 21 years of teaching and research experience in various leading institutions. He has guided more than 30 projects for both UG & PG students. He has published more than 25 research papers in leading international and national journals and more than 10 research papers in leading international and national conferences. He won best faculty award in the 2008. He is a member of peer review committee of in various International journals like International Journal of Industrial and System Engineering, International Journal of Control, International Journal of Vibration and Control, Scientia Iranica international Journal and Journal of Coastal Zone Management. He is the editor for Materials today proceedings and IOP conference proceedings journal of Physics. He has published 3 text books namely Environmental Science, Fundamentals of computing and Programming, and Basics of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. He organized many programme like FDP seminars, conferences and Workshops. He has received funds Rs 3.45,000/- for organizing various events like, Conferences and FDP. He generate Rs 4,93,600/- as a consultancy amount. Under his guidance, final year mechanical Engineering students developed an “Electrical bike”. He has given many guest lecturers in various FDPs and workshops. He is the nodal officer for “NIRF” and acted as chief coordinator in EDC. He is life member in ISTE and IE.
