Short Bio

Dr.S.Velmurugan presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. He received the Bachelor degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in 2011 from the Anna University, Coimbatore. Master Degree in VLSI Design in 2013 from the Anna University, Chennai. He completed his doctoral degree in Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering in 2019 from Anna University, Chennai. He has 9 and above years of teaching experience from various Engineering Educational Institutions. He has published one text book and 30 technical articles in various international Journals and conferences. His areas of interest includes VLSI Design, Data Acquisition, Biomedical Instrumentation, Biomedical Signal processing, Virtual instrumentation and Internet of Things(IoT). He is doing research in multidisciplinary domains and have filed 5 patents and granted with two international patents. He has guided many under graduate and post graduate students and he is a Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Life member of International Society for Research and Development (ISRD), Member of international Association of Engineers (IAENG).
