Short Bio
Dr. P. Sivakumar has obtained B.E., (ECE) Degree from University of MADRAS in 1999 and completed his M.Tech (DEAC) from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka (NITK) in 2005. He completed his Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai in 2012. He is presently working as Professor of ECE, Dr NGP Institute of Technology Coimbatore India. He is having 24 years of Academic Experience, for a short stint he worked in Ethiopia, Middle East. He is a member of ISTE, International Association of Engineers (IAENG) Hong Kong, IACSIT Singapore, and SDIWC Hong Kong. He is life Fellow of IETE New Delhi, India and Senior Member of IEEE. His areas of interest are Wireless Communication, Signal Processing, and Wireless Sensor Networks. He has published more than 65 journal papers and 130 conference papers. He also published six books and five book chapters. Also published four indian patents and granted one UK design patent. He guided more than 100 B.E / B.Tech and 50 M.E /M.Tech projects and Under his supervision 9 PhD scholars completed their Ph.D degree, and as of now he is supervising 4 scholars towards their Ph.D degree. He is Reviewer of many scopus and SCI indexed Journals. He is Editorial Board Member of Mathematical Problems in Engineering (Wiley- Hindawi), International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks ( SAGE-HINDAWI), Journal of Sensors (Wiley-Hindawi), etc. A proven Academic researcher and Administrator, reviewer and TPC member of many Journal and Conferences of national and international repute.
