Short Bio
I, Dr. B. Loganathan currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Department of Science and Humanities at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. I received my B.Sc. degree (2006) in Chemistry from the Government Arts and Science College, Udhagamandalam, M.Sc. (2008) in Industrial Chemistry, M.Phil. (2009) in Chemistry from A. Veeriya Vandayar Memorial Sri Pushpam College, Poondi, Thanjore District and Ph.D (2016) in Chemistry from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India. My research activity includes synthesis, characterization, and applications of various nanostructured materials, Materials Chemistry, Nanocomposites and Photochemistry. I was recognized as a Supervisor (Ref. No.: 2970023) by the Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai. I published 15 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals with 275 citations and an h-index of 10. I too published a book Chapter (entitled: Smart Materials for Sensing, Catalysis, and Coating: Nano Bi- and Trimetallic Particles) in Functionalized Engineering Materials and Their Applications (Taylor & Francis Publication). I received, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Young Scientists – 2017 (Organized by Marina Labs - Chennai; A private Organization). With over 8.5 years of teaching experience; I received LEAD Outstanding Faculty Award 2019-20 (organized by City Educational Consultancy - A private Organization).
